Dan Millman is a former world champion athlete, university coach, martial arts instructor, and college professor. After an intensive, twenty-year spiritual quest, Dan's teaching found its form as the Peaceful Warrior's Way, expressed fully in his books and lectures. His work continues to evolve over time, to meet the needs of a changing world. Dan's thirteen books, including Way of the Peaceful Warrior, have inspired and informed millions of readers in 29 languages worldwide. The feature film, "Peaceful Warrior," starring Nick Nolte, was adapted from Dan's first book, based upon incidents from his life. Much of Dan's time is devoted to writing and speaking. His keynotes, seminars, and workshops span the generations to influence men and women from all walks of life, including leaders in the fields of health, psychology, education, business, politics, sports, entertainment, and the arts. Dan and his wife Joy live in northern California. They have three grown daughters and two grandsons so far.
Mark Zyga also serving as Chief Technology Officer and Programming Engineer. Mark has provided the systems integration, programming, and technology infrastructure for healthy.net and the Wellness Inventory Assessment and Life-Balance Program (www.wellpeople.com). Bringing over 20 years experience in system design/architecture, programming, systems analysis, network administration, project management and training, Mark engineered and programmed the technical architecture of the Wellness Inventory program. He has consulted with leading Fortune 500 companies including IBM, ATT, General Motors, Federal Express, Citibank, MCI, Bell Labs, Toyota and Solomon/Smith Barney. Mark has also taught programming at Purdue University and NYU, as well as digital imaging/photography at Parsons School of Design. In addition to his programming and design skills, Mark is also a certified yoga instructor, A practicing hypnotherapist and Ph.D. candidate in Psychology.
Alan R. Gaby, M.D. received his B.A. from Yale University, his M.S. in biochemistry from Emory University, and his M.D. from the University of Maryland. He is past President of the American Holistic Medical Association and Medical Editor of The Townsend Letter for Doctors. He served on the Ad Hoc Advisory Panel of the National Institutes of Health Office of Alternative Medicine. He is the author of Preventing and Reversing Osteoporosis and B6: The Natural Healer. Along with Jonathan Wright, M.D., he has compiled the Wright/Gaby Research Files, a collection of more than 24,000 scientific papers related to the field of nutritional medicine. He has appeared on the CBS Evening News and the Donahue Show.
