Is there a link between sulphur and asthma, asked a reader last time? Sulphur is found in the soil as well as foods such as apricots, says one reader. Even small doses of it can trigger an allergic reaction, he says. Another asthma sufferer often has an attack after eating dried apricots, although this doesn’t always occur. Interestingly, sulphur is a homeopathic remedy for asthma so if like cures like, then asthma may well be brought on by it.
