Barristers acting for 450 diabetics who are seeking to bring the action against the manufacturers Lilly and Novo Nordisk advised that there is insufficient evidence linking the insulin to any deterioration in their condition.
There is good news, however, for parents of 13 children who claim their children’s teeth were discoloured by too much fluoride (see WDDTY, Vol 3 No 9).
They have been given permission to ask a judge to overturn an earlier decision by the Legal Aid Board to refuse them financial assistance in their action against the manufacturers.
