Why push new drugs when there are safer alternatives?

Thanks for the Special Report on antihypertensives (WDDTY vol 14 no 8). Exactly what I needed. I wish this information were in every doctor’s surgery and on his computer screen. Why do they persist in pushing these new pills when much safer treatments, such as CoQ10, are available? – Cliff, via e-mail
