MS::It’s all to do with the month of your birth

Could this be a blow struck for astrology? Researchers have discovered that the month of your birth is one of the key factors in determining if you will suffer from multiple sclerosis (MS).
If you were born in May in a northern hemisphere country, you are far likelier to develop MS than if you were born in November, the birth month that had the fewest number of sufferers.
This extraordinary fact was replicated when researchers went through patient records from Canada, England, Sweden and Denmark, and it was a distinction that was particularly evident among sufferers from Scotland, which has the highest incidence of the disease of the countries that participated in the trial.
The research team, from the University of Michigan, says the study conclusively proves a link between the disease and the month of birth. But why? It may have something to do with the years that the study covered, when perhaps there was greater ultraviolet activity, or unexpected shifts in temperature or weather patterns.
Strangely, nobody mentioned astrology.
