NEWS:MORE DRUGS FOUND TO INTERACT WITH VIAGRA

More heart drugs have been found to interact adversely with Viagra, the legendary drug which helps against impotence.

Doctors in California have discovered that Viagra can interact adversely with nonnitrate vasodilators as well as the nitrate variety, which has been widely reported.

To discover the extent of the problem, a review was undertaken of the adverse drug reactions related to Viagra, and submitted to the US Food and Drug Administration from April to June 1998. Approximately 24 per cent of these occurred in patients taking non nitrate antihypertensive drugs (JAMA, 2000; 283: 201-2).
