We’ve still got copies of what turned out to be a 25 page booklet The Vaccine Handbook, which tells you everything you need to know about ten childhood vaccines, and the Filofax Guide to Doctors. The more eagle eyed among you phoned up to enquire about the price of the latter, advertised in our last issue, which was listed as $4.95 (ie, dollars), an unfortunate typographical error that wasn’t picked up. Please note (as many of you correctly assumed) that the Guide to Doctors, like the Vaccine Handbook, costs £4.95 sterling. Unless we’re ordering books from the States, please do assume that we mean British pounds and pence. The fact that I am American born probably confused the issue further.
And while we’re on the subject of guides and boo boos, for any of you who were asked to resubscribe right now, please note that if you do so before 31 December you receive as a free gift A Guide to the Side Effects of Non prescription Drugs. This latest Filofax insert will give you information about the risk of all those over the counter preparations to treat everything from acne and haemorrhoids to colds and flu.The gift is emphatically not the Guide to Doctors, in case our subs letter confused you. Our apologies for all these mixups. Consider WDDTY, like everything else at the moment, a victim of temporary Christmas insanity.
