Lipodema

It’s an abnormal deposition of subcutaneous fat with fluid retention, characterised by enlargement of both legs from below the waist to the ankles (sometimes affecting the arms too). Does anyone out there have any information or experience of this condition or, better yet, know of any treatments? Try skin brushing to stimulate lymph drainage and therefore removal of excess tissue fluid. For best effect, buy a bristle skin brush and brush from the extremities toward the heart in long strokes for 5 minutes before showering. Also consult a good manual lymphatic drainage practitioner.
