Reader’s Corner:White spot:

One reader has developed a tiny white spot under her eye, which some have said is a sign of high cholesterol. Moisturising creams could be the culprit, says one reader, but another believes that it is indeed a sign of high cholesterol. Instead of taking statins, our reader adopted a low-fat diet and is taking Boswellia, which is supposed to lower LDL, the ‘bad’ cholesterol. Another possibility is that it’s a calcium deposit, says another reader, which should go away after a few months. Then there’s always Health Kinesiology.
