What Doctors Don't Tell You* If you do opt for keyhole surgery, make sure the surgeon is very experienced and that the hospital performs these operations on a regular basis. Most injuries caused by this type of surgery are the result of an inexperienced surgeon. If you are in doubt as to his skill, insist on open surgery.
