Vitamin T

Known as the “sesame seed factor,” vitamin T is found in sesame seeds and egg yolks. We do not yet know exactly what this substance is, but it is thought to be helpful in preventing anemia and the hemolysis of red blood cells. Halvah, a high-protein food made from sesame seeds, helped keep the armies marching in the time of Alexander the Great.
